    The World’s 10 Largest Economies by GDP (1960-Today)

    This rapid-paced animation shows year-by-year changes in GDP for the world's 10 largest economies over the course of 57 years.


    Pretty interesting on what has happened on the world stage the past 57 years. Video at the top gives a break down of GDP, its about 90 seconds long.

      And to think we went from pilgrams to the worlds largest economy in a few hundred years while all these other countries have history thousands of years old.
      Some say this place is not special or blessed by GOD.

            I wouldn't be surprised if India doesn't pass China in 10 years, it's like it cycles with the US controlling the cycles.

                History has taught us that empires rise and fall over time. The United States is not that old of a country. It would be interesting to come back in 500-1000 years, and see if the U.S. has maintained it's position.

                I think a significant number of economists could put up a pretty good argument about the role of God (or lack thereof) in economic prosperity.

                  I'm sure they could make a.good argument for socialism as well......but they would be wrong.
