Just picked up a new Ruger No. 1 with a little faster than 1:8 twist and I know it will stabilize the heavier 6mm bullets but what about the lighter ones? Looking for info on bullets less than 90 grains if anyone has a 243 with a fast twist. If you load for it, what powders does yours like for the heavy and lighter bullets.

That is a great looking # 1 as well!
I’m planning on 115 to be my do all.
I do have 65 V-Max, 75 V-Max, 100 BTSP, and 105 A-Max as back up though.

I have a 6mmx284 one in ten that spits the lighter weights at blistering speed. The original Barnes X bullet flat base was a death ray at a bit over 3800 back in the day.
