3 Dead 10 Points Brady Tx!

found 3 dead 10 points last weekend at the ranch. This will make the 4th in a couple months. Also found another dead buck with both antlers shed. Any thoughts?? very odd for our place. No bullet holes in 2 found in tact. Rattlers were a bonus lol (not really) both people are my buddys with me. (first 10 found month ago is posted in comments)

Snakes are out already?!?! Sorry to hear about the bucks. That does seem very strange. Like someone else stated above. I would have them tested.

Hunt near there and am stumped, with no bullet hole.
We found 3 large bucks at the end of season. But turned out to be crappy shooters on the next ranch over. Had my suspicions though since they were found right next to our winter wheat field.

Only way to find out is to call it in. I am no expert on that stuff.

They are way to rotten to test for cwd. I’m assuming some sort of illness. I work for a veterinarian that’s well know for working on deer. Across the state. I’ll ask him what he thinks. Those snakes where close to a den I bet. I catch a bunch of snakes on 385 north of Brady

May not be cwd, could be anthrax. My old lease in Rocksprings had it happen many times. They were confirmed anthrax. Wouldn’t be so fast to jump on the cwd train.
