That is the truth! Our Golden will be 15 on Dec 16, but I'm not sure she will make it. She has cancer tumors all over her body, and recently a large mass has come up on her snout. The tumor is causing problems with her breathing, and she has bleeding spells out of her nose. We are taking it day by day, but she is happy, wags her tail and does not really seem to be in pain. The moment we sense that she is in pain, we will head to the vet to put her to sleep!

Burn...I’m sorry to hear that. Had a very similar situation with a 12 year old Rottie. As soon as the pain came he went for his last truck ride.
