If you wear an 11, 11.5, or 12 the Beaumont store has Justin Snake boots on the clearance.

I was at Academy at 8:15. Parking lot was packed. Lots of deals. Firearms not included but everything else was. Got a 1500 yard spool of power pro for $50 along with some hunting clothes.

Round Rock store has a minimal selection on hunting and fishing gear. Mostly general clothing and boots. Dad went over to Cedar Park this morning and it had a much broader selection across all categories.

Just got back from RR. They had a decent boot selection, bought over 10 pair of boots and shoes for the family. Bought 2 Pelican kayaks as well. Never been on a kayak before but for 50% we will give it a go once it warms up. It was starting to get crowded and things were going quick.

I10@99 was a madhouse. Grabbed some more baitcaster combos and Taylor Made driver and hybrid that I don't need. There are some phenomenal clothing deals if you wear a women's small or mens ***L

Wish I had waited on my recent kayak purchase. They had at least 2 of the pescador 12 (original tarpon 120) marked $479 so that's out the door $260 on a brand new kayak. Took a lot for me to walk away from that.

Academy in Dallas/North Park had a ton of stuff on Wednesday. Someone needs to go hit that store up.

Game Winner climbers were $25 on Wednesday so they would be $12. Tons of other stuff.

The academy at 1960 and 249 in Houston didn't have a lot of the stuff you guys are talking about on clearance. Regular prices except on some clothes and a small selection of hunting stuff. Trail cameras - regular price. Bow and gun cases - regular price. Disappointed.

I knew I should have asked an employee to scan the smoker! I thought they were $75 after the half off. I would have got one for $35

Kayaks are really good deals. Normal $750 marked down to $400 so they ring up $200 And they come fully rigged (paddle, seat, life jacket)

Surprised someone didn't just buy them all to re-sell.
