I loved my 2007 Duramax but my Powerstroke is in a different class. Comfortable, smooth, and powerful. Hopefully I get the same longevity from it as I did the Chevy. Just need some different tires and I'll be set. Oh, and the sunroof is huge

I second that! Yeah I hope to get a while out of it also. The sunroof is something else!

Iím no expert but itís deleting the DPF and EGR. This gets rid of the emissions system so the truck gets better mileage and longevity. Also you donít need to run DEF anymore. Then correct me if Iím wrong but I believe you have to get a tuner to reprogram the computer after getting rid of the emissions crap. You can change shiftpoints and get more power through tuning. Or you can run everything stock but I believe you need the tuner so that the computer doesnít throw codes all the time.

Correct and more than just throwing codes, without the tuner it will put the truck in ďreduced power modeĒ making it basically useless.

Two weeks ago a buddy & I drove from Millsap TX (30 miles west of Ft. Worth) to Rossville TN (40 miles east of Memphis) for a whitetail hunt in his 2019 F350 SRW CC 4x4 LWB Platinum. That thing is absolutely incredible. The technology of this truck made my old '08 F350 SRW CC 4x4 LWB Lariat seem like it was from the Stone Age. He had an app on his iPhone for it that could do virtually everything but steer. I'm Jonesing for one, but I need to start a Fund Me account for the $74K, who's in?

In its day is was good.

Itís not even close to as good as the modern diesels, especially when they are deleted.

The power these things have is insane.

I agree. Iíve had every ford diesel since 1993 except the 6.8. The 6.7 is the best one and even better deleted.

Iíd have to agree that the 6.7 is the best. I havenít had those but Iíve driven all the Powerstroke motors a few of the duramax and Cummins and I think this new Powerstroke blows them all outta the water.

I had a 2012 F350 SRW I put over 125,000 miles on no problems, 2015 the same. In a 2017 now no issues. As far as others talking about getting stuck I pulled all of my gear off of the hunting lease we had been on for 10 years pulling a 30í deck over gooseneck. It took 2-trips and it was muddy as he!! With several miles of lease roads once you finally make it on the property And didnít get stuck. Firestone MTís and the rear end locked my hunting buddy that helped me with second load couldnít believe it.

My buddies Dodge got stuck in the lease road and the left front and right rear tire were the only ones that would spin in 4WD, 2006 model.

A stock 6.7 will out run and out pull a chipped 7.3. Thatís 16 year old technology that is very outdated!

As long as you can find the bottom and have some good tires they can do exceptionally well. The problem is theyíre heavy as hell, and if thereís no bottom theyíre going to try to find it anyways. Then youíre sitting on the frame

Love mine, 16k miles and no issues. However, I am getting a bit bored with it. I really wanted to get a new ram hd in 2020, but they hardly changed the body style at all. Maybe ill throw some 35s on rekindle my love for her.

Thanks, it was a hard choice between this color and yours, but in the end I chose the monotone since at the time of ordering back in '17, I never really saw any.

I like to refer to it as the "undercover king" since its kinda different than the standard two tone KR's. I really wanted a platinum white/caribou, but like you, I just couldnt bring myself to buy one, even though I drool at them when I see them out driving. I just really love the clean look of monotone and the KR tailgate applique.

Only reason I did it was because a water hauler hit my rear bumper and scraped my rear tailgate and ruined my bumper so I ordered what I wanted with the check I got

I bought an entire fleet of fords back in 1995, 12 trucks, my mechanic threatened to quit if I did not go back to GM, all we run now are GM products, never ever will I buy another Ford work truck, ever.

Back in 1995??? Is your mechanic still alive? LOL Comparing a 1995 Ford or Chevy to a new Ford with a 6.7 Powerstroke is like comparing a button buck to a Boone and Crockett...

I dont think that is a fair comparison, the 7.3 was the most over engineering hunk of junk to hit the road. No comparison to a 6.7. Im a die hard cummins fan, but to me, ford makes the best truck at the moment. All joking aside comparing a 95 7.3 to a 6.7 is no way to form an opinion.

Coming from a lifelong GM guy that recently converted..... CenTexRancher is spot on. My 17 350 is my first Ford, and I’ve still got a 18’ Sierra in the driveway that the company pays for. If they didn’t pay for it, it would have a blue oval.

Has anyone put a HD steel bed on one of these late model Super Duty pickups? A rancher had his ‘19 parked near a gate and the calves wrecked the bed and tailgate. He’s having a steel bed put on in place of the aluminum one. And no it’s not a steel flatbed being installed. I’ll have to find out who makes the steel bed.
