Did you use different ID numbers to apply for each hunt? What does your status show online?

With the old paper system they would DQ you, with this new online system it won't allow anyone to apply multiple times so I think your nephew may be mistaken. At least that is the way the system is designed to work unless your nephew found a loophole.

Is it realistic to get drawn for something every year, if you put in like $150? Or is that super unlikely?

I've spent $1-200 the last 5 or 6 years and never been drawn for anything. And I usually apply for stuff with best odds.
