    First Hog with a bow

Shot her at about 23 yards. I had about 14-15 at the corn and each time I would lower my bowlight on them they would scatter.

FYI, the only way that I could get them to stay was to just shine my light on the corn and wait for them to come back in. I waited about 3-4 minutes and they finally came back in - drew without trying to wiggle the light and this is the result.

She ran about 30 yards. Bled really well - Buckets.

If I had known how big she was I would have not shot her - wore my azz out dragging her out of the woods.

My bow is 35" ATA, I guestimated that she weighed about 200+/-.

I have never been able to lower the light on them. They scatter everytime.
I have better luck just hitting them with it and shooting.
Love the knife, sharp finger. I had one when I was a kid and lost it. My son got me one for Christmas this year.

Congratulations!! Don't let her size keep you from shooting another one that big! You don't have to drag every one of them out!
I have only shot two spotted ones and I know several people that would love to get one, so it's really cool that you got a spotted one first. Good job!

Can you mount a green light on the feeder that is always on? They don't see the light from your bow, but they do see a shadow that gets cast by it, and that spooks em.

Worst part about shooting pigs over a feeder is the size of your quiver! You run out of arrows. So now I take 2 quivers to the stand I have over corn!!

Dang, only 30 yards? Awesome shot. What was your broadhead?

                              Also, that's a sweet knife.
