      Anyone pickled half hot pepper with half sweet peppers? Curious if it would make the sweet peppers hotter? And I am inquiring as to sliced peppers versus whole peppers.

        Here's what I do: 1 cup white vinegar, 1 cup water, 3 tb sugar, 2 tb salt, 3 garlic cloves. Boil mixture, fill jar with peppers, pour hot mixture over peppers. Outstanding every time.
