    Bastrop co

I just leased 65 acres in Elgin off 1704
I was told lots of hogs... the land owner will be hunting too but it’s a one buck co
    So I not worried

My question is Bastrop County a no doe County or bow season only

I use to hunt in Coon Neck on 1704. Can be some good deer running the Wilbarger. And yes, lots of hogs.
Doe with bow. A buddy killed a free ranging Aoudad south of Coon Neck in 2015.

Bastrop county is a 2 buck county with antler restrictions.

I have a buddy that hunts about the same acreage on 1704. He killed a upper 140s a few years ago

Hunted right in there for about 5 years, you may be surprised there’s some big boys running around there.
