Wife and I host my side of the family every July 4th or Thanksgiving. Picture is of the last one we had. 53 people and we are blessed that all live within and hour of Georgetown.

Everyone arrives today at 11:00 am. Lots of work but also lots of fun.

Use to do this every 4th of July also with my wife's family, had 40-60 every year for 20+ years, when I lost my wife in 2007, did it one more year but was never the same, I really miss those days. Enjoy them and the times.

Just got home from our families Fourth of July celebration. Some of the old timers were talking today they think this has been going on since 1936. Sure miss my parents and some of the old timers. Congrats on a great looking bunch. God bless

Well we survived the day.

So many kids walking around I had zero idea of all their names and who they belonged to!

Fish were caught. The slip and slide I rented was worn out by all the kiddos.

Awesome food was eaten.
