      I live in cottonmouth central. 9 out of 10 snakes I come across on my property are cottonmouths. Some are fat and stubby, and some are skinny. It’s the really small ones that scare me.

        See the smile. That’s what I always tell people. Cotton mouths always have that band across their mouth and the different scale pattern on their head. They are the easiest snake in the world to ID but so many never get it right
