Almost got got!

Wife is standing there in front of our restaurant talking to one of the managers. All of the sudden he yells look out and grabs her and throws her out of the way. A freaking tire and wheel comes bouncing over a car in drive through and goes right through where my wife was and bounces off the wall and way up in the air and then lands and falls over.

Apparently it came over the wall on 249, dropped the 30ish feet to the road going probably 55 or 60, and just kept on going till it hit the wall. Crazy thing is there was no car pulled over, and no one came looking for the wheel.

Thank you God for having someone there to keep her safe! That could have been bad.

seen that happen on the spare tire undercarriage on an 18 wheeler. bounced across I10 in Houston. Bounce over the concrete divider and across the oncoming traffic. No one was hit but it would have been ugly if anyone was cause it was bouncing higher than the hood on most cars.

Glad nobody was hurt during that fiasco. Strange things happen sometimes !

My brother used to park his ‘56 Ford Crown Vic and ride to work with another guy on odd days. He came back one day to find his hood mashed completely down to the engine. A set of duals had run off a truck ! Luckily a guy that ran a gas station across the road got the info off the truck and their insurance paid off.

Similar thing happened at work last week. A guy thought someone parked next to him had hit and run. Managers pulled the surveillance footage and saw that a spare tire came flying across the lawn and hit his truck. They said it looked like it fell out of the sky, after rolling through the ditch. Glad your bride is ok.

I knew a girl from Alpine a long time ago that was killed when a tire & rim came through the windshield of the car she was riding in.
