I’ll stick to this thread. This morning was so foggy, couldnt make out certain deer. Back in the blind now, since we’ve been sitting a lot, deer have been coming out early, not a single deer right now.

So I’ve been concerned about him showing up, he was on the camera 3 days ago, so he is still alive. From the past history of him, he goes dormant from October to December. So this might be a long hunt. Thanks for everyone following, I will update as much as I can.

Yep, a lot of these older bucks come off their summer patterns within the first week or two of season. Gotta get them early or wait until rut.

Same thing happened to my target buck last year... When I finally saw him between Christmas and New Year, he was all broke up, so I let him walk...
Good thing is, this year he's bigger!! Bad thing is he disappeared about 10 days ago, AGAIN...

I guess someone forgot to share with this buck that high fence deer are supposed to be easy to kill.
