I hate to give bad news but we didn't recover the deer. We searched the neighbors property and didn't find anything. We think after the deer was jumped that it possibly ran into a neighborhood that borders the property.

Yea we tried hard to locate the deer. Hope the buzzards will show him where he went

Shot was over the lungs, under spine

Had to be thru the tenderloins. There's no dead space there. Or thru the top of the lungs and wasn't fatal. Good looking buck.
