What to do near Chapel Hill/Brenham

Wife and I will be heading to stay at a BnB in Chapel Hill area for a couple days in July. Any recommendations on places to visit, eat, check out would be much appreciated.

Grab lunch at beavers, drive around through old Washington, drink some beer at the Mule

The Museum at Washington on the Brazos, it’s a nice drive from Chappell Hill to Washington via FM 1155. I think Blue Bell is doing tours again. Volare’s for Italian, Sealand for Seafood Mariachis for Mexican and L.J.’s for BBQ (if you are there on a Saturday and are willing to wait “Truth” for BBQ)

There are several wineries is the area although I'm not sure if they are open or not. Also Google Round Top TX. It looked like an interesting antiquing area when we last drove through the area.

Swing by Burton sausage company and get the "ultimate steak seasoning". I reccomend buying a half dozen bottles or so.

If you want a simple afternoon/evening and enjoy the simpler things in life, swing by The Yard in Brenham. Cold beer, hot pizza on a deck overlooking a miniature baseball field. There will be a whiffle ball gam going on. They may be 8-9 they may be 35-40. Innocence at its finest. IMO

The Bacon Bacon Bacon BLT at Merritt's is worth the 1 hour wait in line.
