Last Minute Couples Getaway

I've decided we're going to get out of town this weekend without the kids, just not sure where. No flying and would prefer within 4 hours of Houston. We've done San Antonio Riverwalk several times and it hasn't been ruled out just yet, but looking for other options. Also do Galveston several times a year. Hill Country area is an option, but I'd prefer a nice cabin with privacy...not a B&B or one of the properties where all the cabins are lined up side by side.

Open to all suggestions.

Man I’d be looking at Airbnb in areas that you’re interested in. Fredericksburg would be a great place to go and plenty of private places to stay at.

We went to dripping springs, air bnb rented a house on like 10acres had a hot tub up on a hill very private and close to town lots to do around there or just relax

The cabins in Broken Bow, Oklahoma are great, and most are spaced out to the point that you feel secluded. Hills, woods, a lake, and a river with trout. It's probably closer to 6 hours from you though.

Could run over to Lake Charles and get a room at the Golden Nugget or Lauberge.

We really like the Westin La Cantera in San Antonio. They have a shuttle service to all of the nearby restaurants, bars, etc. Also has an awesome adult only pool overlooking the hill county and golf course.

We are staying there 3 days over Memorial weekend

This^^^ We stayed there before and it was great, I can send you the ABNB where we stayed if you would like. If ya'll are in to wine, there are several wineries and tours.
