    2 Epic Bucks, 2 States, 48 hours

I’ve had a pretty amazing week in the WT woods...

I waited 18 years to draw another good TPWD public draw hunt and dang it was a good one. I took this 9 point Tuesday at the Matador that was aged at 7.5 by their biologist. I shot him about 2.5 miles from my truck and spent most the day getting him out of caverns, off the ridge and through a river. What a rewarding hunt! Texas Public land Buck Down!

After tagging out early I hauled butt to Kansas for my favorite week of the year. When it’s on it’s on. The second day 15 minutes into the hunt an absolute stud walked out and I hammered him, he made it 30 yards. A 160” Kansas stud, I couldn’t be happier. There’s no place like Kansas in November!

I’ve had one heck of a year, keep after them boys!

Very cool! Congrats. The size of that Kansas buck compared to the Tx buck is crazy!

Nice James! I've always enjoyed hunting the Matador. Haven't been there in quiet a few years, but there are some big boys out there. It's hard to get drawn for the rifle hunt. Then to follow it up with a Kansas giant! Man, do you work?
