We spent Thanksgiving week at the property and I wanted to provide an update. It rained nearly all week which was great for the land but was not ideal for hunting and hanging out.
The cabin has been a struggle to get done but it’s at the 80-85% point right now. It’s night and say from where it was.
The ponds and land are looking great after the drought this spring and summer.
Most importantly we had a great time with the family!
And I can legitimately say that right now there are 5 nice bucks walking around. I am trying to get my 8 year old his first buck. He was a trooper and made every hunt but it was the rut and they were hard to pattern. We sat at one stand almost all week. Then we had a bunch on camera at another stand so we moved. My wife and other son hunted where we were hunting and not 30 min into the hunt she sends me a picture of this great buck!
They day before I almost shot a big 11 about 40 yards behind the cabin.
