Yesterday it was a slow afternoon until a group of 20 that included Ewes, young rams and the leader of the herd showed up. As soon as he gave me a clear shot, I placed the crosshairs low to the front shoulder and let the 6.5 142gr Hornady Precision Hunter do the work. The ram ran 10 yards and dropped. Excellent bullet performance with a complete pass through and when I opened him up, the heart looked like jell-o. Fourth ram that was taken in the ranch over 30”. The first one is the one in my Avatar 34”, two of my friends took a 33” and a 31”, and this one 32”.
