My wife and I celebrated our 29th this weekend. I got her a pair of running shoes and she gave me a shirt. I cannot even relate to dropping that amount of cash without her (or my) knowledge and agreement. We could afford it (many times over) but, we just aren't wired that way.

We aren’t wired that way either. She told me she was going to do it before hand in order to give me the option to talk her out of it. We discuss everything about finances before anything over a $100 bill is spent.
