As long as the News keeps putting the fear in the American People you never know what’s going to happen. People need to understand that they have to have the numbers go up to justify what they have done with closing schools, business and other activity. Yes people will speculate what may or may not happen, but one thing is for sure the Media likes to stir the pot.

Yeah I remember, but that caused alot of others, that didn't do anything, to get their guns taken.
And never get them back, from what I remember.
As per my previous comments, let some of these idiots loot, or rob someone over goods, and we'll be right back there.

Some officers from my department said they saw exactly that. They went to assisted like police agencies do in emergencies and saw what was happening and backed out. Our swat commander said that they saw doors being kicked in and guns confiscated for no reason. Our officers then assisted in other areas but refused to take part in the door to door gun confiscation.

Texas right after that, passed a law forbidding confiscation of firearms and only allows keeping them if they are evidence in a crime. That law says that the police still have the authority to disarm someone for safety just like on a traffic stop but the gun and ammo must be returned at the end of the contact unless the gun is evidence or the person was arrested.

Got word today from a missionary friend that Spain is on total lockdown now. No one out of their homes and that streets are being patrolled with drones. Hospitals aren't treating anyone older than 62 yo.
