Barnett Vortex?

Does anyone here have any experience with the Barnett Vortex? Looking for my 11 year old. It seems to have good reviews... and hard to beat for 130$. I would have to get some arrows, but still doesn't seem like a bad deal, for a kid who is learning. The color combo also matched my bow... so that is an added bonus for me.. Looking for opinions on anyone that may have had some experience with the bow?

My nephew is same age and loves his compound bow if that's an option. Think it was from Bass Pro and not much money.But he loves it. Gettin good with it too.

Any idea which bow? Make or model? I'm willing to check out multiple options. I like that the Vortex went up to 45lbs, so he has potential to hunt with it.
