I have never seen fake chili and I make my chili with Kidney and Pinto beans.

Same with beans , you can add them to your chili but you are no
longer eating chili

I'm not sure whether to feel sad or sorry for those of you who's "chili" taste like sloppy joe or spaghetti sauce.

I can't imagine even being drunk enough to think a can of sloppy joe taste remotely close to chili.

In lieu of cheese and sour cream, I've been putting avocado in my chili lately. It is pretty dang good. I don't think it is a replacement for cheese and sour cream but it'll work while I'm choosing not to eat as much dairy.
