did you buy it from a store recently or has it sat for a while? it's one of my all-time favorites but if it's been up on a top shelf (sun, heat, etc) for a while then it may not taste normal.

I've been going through this bottle of Russell's Reserve, 110 proof. It packs a bit of a punch but if you let your ice cube melt down there is a nice smooth flavor. Nice drink.

I like their bourbon, but from what I've read it's just another story bourbon.

Just when I thought I totally struck out on allocates bottles this season, I stopped by a small place I frequent and was offered these when I picked up a bottle of Scotch. Paid about $20 over MSRP for each, but still much lower than what I know they go for on the secondary market.

I prefer the Early Times BiB over the Dickel. Dickel is an acquired taste that I just haven’t acquired yet. It’s very polarizing and know many that love it, but it’s not for me.
