"Inbetweener" bow for my teenage son

Looking for recommendations on a new bow for my son. He's 13 yrs old and been shooting a PSE Mini Burner since he was 7 or 8. It's been a great bow and he's killed numerous critters with it, but he's outgrown it. It is maxed out at 50lbs, so looking to get him a new one.

He's not a real big kid, maybe 5'-5" and 130 lbs. I'm not going to drop $1k on this thing either. I'm not up to speed on the newer bows that are out. Thinking something that the draw length can be easily adjusted as he grows and can go from 50 - 60 lbs.

So whats out there and what do yall recommend?

Mission bows are really adjustable. Draw weight and draw length can easily be adjusted as the kid grows.

Another vote for Diamond Edge 320 or Infinite Edge.

Misson Switch or Elite Ember are great choices.

              Adjustable draw weight and Length.

Appreciate the suggestions. What's the difference in the SB-1 and the 320?

Used mission ballistic, dang i wish they still made them. 50-70 pound adjustment, 330+IBO and mods for draw length. Once a person can pull 50, IDK of any better bow that has a lot of range for the money

At 5’5” and 130 I would be looking on here for used men’s bow. There are always 27” 50-70lb bows on here that will last for several years for him.

I’m gonna say he would be best served with a 60-70lb full grown rig. It could hang with him awhile. His build sounds about what I was at that age. I had no issues ymmv

45lbs Bear recurve. Or a longbow. You only have so much time to break him of the compound habit.
