If your in the county there are no inspections only in the city. Be prepared if the house was partially (mostly) done by Jan 1 they may tax you on partial value for 2021.

Also be prepared you will lose the ag exemption on the house and 1 acre. Our county has made a hard push to get values in line so I would expect to see the tax man hit you for an assessed value close to 90% of market value.

They wont even ask to come inside. You will have the burden to prove your house is worth less than they tax you for.
