Sorry guys! Completely forgot to update.
So:
First evening my dad got a doe. He saw a lot of bucks! And I mean a lot!
First morning we both were able to take a spike these were the only deer we saw in the morning.
That evening I saw a young 6 point, a monster 9point probably 150inches. And I was able to take a very healthy doe that was by herself.
This morning we slept in and went out about 9 and I had not even got set up fully and had a young deer come in and decided I wanted to take it for some tender meat to try some different recipes.
We decided to come home tonight after tagging four deer and my wife’s car wouldn’t crank so I wanted to get back to handle that.

Some of my favorite things about these hunts is finding hole in the wall restaurants to try. We went to Sowels BBQ in Three Rivers that was very good and Agave Jalisco for breakfast tacos.

My dads spike (really only had 1 horn the other was a nub)
Some of the deer my dad saw on stand.
A buck we saw bedded down with a doe 30 yards off the parks main road.
The pig my dad ended up getting.

Thanks all. I will say this hunt is a little inconvenient in that you have to drive to daughtery anytime you do shoot one which is about 30min drive.
It makes for some late nights when you shoot right at dark, but would recommend signing up for it if you are looking to fill the freezer and have a fun hunt.
