Hospitals get big money from the gubment for covid. Hence the elevated testing and numbers of positives. Funny we used to have 80,000 people die annually from influenza, but very little since the covid thing came out.

The Grand County coroner is calling attention to the way the state health department is classifying some deaths.

The CDC requires reporting of deaths DUE to Covid and separately deaths AMONG confirmed Covid cases.

The county had 5 deaths among people with Covid, 3 dies DUE to Covid, 2 died DUE to gsw but they were absolutely AMONG confirmed cases so they had to be reported as such.

Fox News and Townhall lied to you in the best way, by telling a technical truth in a misleading way.

            Facts are super important

Q: Are hospitals inflating the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths so they can be paid more? A: Recent legislation pays hospitals higher Medicare rates for COVID-19 patients and treatment, but there is no evidence of fraudulent reporting. FULL QUESTION Are hospitals getting 13,000 per patient if they write that on the diagnosis is COVID19 on the patient’s chart, and 35,000 for each patient if they are on ventilators? I keep seeing posts in social media claiming that hospitals are over-stating covid-19 deaths because the they are paid more for these deaths …

That’s $35k number comes from estimate Medicare payment for similar diseases. Hospitals lost a ton of money because they couldn’t do their cash cow elective procedures.

Learn about how CDC estimates the burden of seasonal influenza in the U.S.

Calculation of flu burden, the 80,000 every year number isnt reality.
And we don’t seem to have a really bad flu season this year for whatever reason.

Not true. All trauma deaths including those in the hospital must be referred to the medical examiner. It’s the law.

I have seen the same thing. Dying with covid is much different than dying of covid. But we know they like to pump their numbers up to cause panic and herd the sheep.

Back in March, there was an article posted and a quote in that article from the Dallas County Medical Examiner. Summarized, he stated that they we testing every body presented at the morgue. If the body tested + for Covid, they were NOT doing an autopsy and listing the cause of death as Covid (obviously a gunshot wound or auto accident would not fall in this category). If they even did this 1 time, that skews the #s and therefore none can be considered as accurate.

I think that has been the biggest issue. We cannot get accurate data/info, therefore we can believe nothing...or ANYTHING depending on which direction you WANT to look.

Our government can't correctly count basic 50/50 split ballots during the election.

It isn't too hard to fathom others are picking up on this and start playing the same game.

The truth doesn't matter to most people anymore. They find their statistics/views/articles that fit their own agenda and accept them as fact even when proven false.
