Mini Aussies as tracking dogs

Obviously, Australian Shepard’s are meant as a herding breed but I have heard of a few instances where individuals have used them to track wounded game. I have experience helping my father train his Jagdterrier for tracking and now I’m looking at getting my own tracking dog. I currently have a mini Aussie female who is just a straight running house dog so I really like the breed and wanted to see if anyone had experience or opinions on a mini Aussie being used for tracking wounded game.

I too used a Jagd as a bloodtracker. My wife has a mini Aussie. He will put his nose to the ground and track as good as any.

Or.......get another Jagd terrier. They are some of the best tracking dogs you will find
