            Interesting little 'fingers' on the leading edge of the wings.
            I guess they use those to dig.
            I'm in Williamson, but the rocky part; I guess they need softer dirt.

                              Those are some nice pictures, really like them. I get usually one or two pictures of burrowing owls on my game cameras each year. I think I have only gotten pictures of them in the winter. I did not know we had them in Guadalupe County.
