    Van Tx Eats

We are doing the Canton thing this weekend (yea I know ). We are staying at the Van exit off of I20. Any suggestions of places to eat around here without driving back to Tyler? Thanks in advance!
I did a search but couldn’t find anything or I didn’t word it correctly.

Don't go to that BBQ place near the hotel, not that good.

Go up North 19 to 80 and west to Edgewood. About 12 miles. Eat at the Lumber Ward. Great food. It is on the rt. North side of the road.

Easly’s Cattle Co. If you want a steak or burger. That old man can cook.
It’s south of the flea market about 3 miles.

We ended up only eating out this afternoon with the exception of the junk food at the Canton market days. The Farmhouse was our choice. Good ol southern food is one of my down falls. We would have had Teles second but we catch up on Mexican food in Lufkin Nacogdoches and Houston on a regular basis.
Thanks for the input from TBH.
