Default Who has the Ugliest Stand

We made a quick dash out to the lease this weekend and I had to repair my already hideous stand and it got me thinking. Who here hunts from an absolute hideous stand like me. For the record, i was trying to use the pop up only at this spot and a storm blew it away and i just improvised by using an old deer stand frame that i no longer use.

Love it. Type of stand your buddies give you crap for yet you manage to shoot bigger deer than them out of

This was the old Hangover blind at the Bone's ranch. It was made from pieces of an old tent blind, camo burlap, black felt, cattle panels, and old tent poles, all held together by zip ties. If you didn't situate the roof poles just right when you got in, you couldn't draw/shoot your bow. Killed a lot of deer out it though

I hope you got a current tetanus shot before you get in that thing!

I have some ragged old equipment, but I'm afraid I cannot enter this competition.

Bad as they, they're still better than the ones on a couple of ranches I'm working! Grass fire went through about a week ago, several blinds are nothing more than a charcoal footprint with a former tin roof and some scrap iron from the chairs inside.

Yours may look better, but at least you get fresh air up there. I don't actually hunt this stand, but inherited it on a property. Although...I did see a pretty nice buck about 75 yards from it the other day.

I put my bow and all that in by pulling the side out enough to slide it onto the platform. Then i typically just climb up the X in the back and used the poles in the back to lift me into the blind. Getting down is a chore. I'll find a ladder at some point.

First is an old stand at the house. Great bow spot on a food plot.

Second is a old house with good views for rifle season.

Third is a meth head stand someone left on a place of mine. Yes, that is a hover-round chair bolted to the top. I hesitated posting this one for fear of Arkansas jokes

Used to hunt out of an old broke down water tanker truck that had the windshield busted out of it. you just opened the driver side door and slid into the middle with the dash be the rest.
