Just ordered from dB electrical. $80 free shipping. Guaranteed to meet or exceed OEM part. We’ll see. Sounds like a Saturday project. Lots of patience and lots of Lone Star Light.

Yeah, when I bought the boat, it had sat in a slip with a lift at Port O’Connor for 4 years. I hadn’t noticed the rust until I started doing my work on the boat myself. I’ve been replacing stuff recently and figured I’d attack this ASAP. No problems with the trim motor, just don’t want to get stuck out in the water somewhere. But I guess, now that I think about it, I wouldn’t get stuck, just wouldn’t be able to tilt and trim. Either way, sounds like a fun project. [emoji15][emoji23][emoji41]

Thanks. I noticed that while taking the picture as well. Will replace that too.

Also, keep the o - ring off your old motor. Last after market I bought had a very thin o - ring that didn't work.
