Prob so. I guess he is basically going to be a decoy anyway. Certainly cannot stretch the field. What’s he good for? Redzone?

Gonna be rooting for the Saints against the Boys. Maybe the more losses we have, something will change. Probably wishful thinking.

"smart" move by him. wait to see who is the strongest in the NFC (coin flip with the rams), then join them. he is probably their 4th best receiver. hellava lot closer to a ring that our sad sack of cowboys are right now!

Peyton won't put up with his crap for one second. Unlike Garrett, Payton has control over his players and can bench his azz or let him go back on the street.

Maybe it was the cowboys that were the train wreck when he was there? Saints won't play that with him. They already let go a stud in Brandon Cooks who was all about himself. Brees, Ben Watson and Ingram wont tolerate it. I think he will be somewhat humble just knowing the Saints are just fine without him. He can be an asset but hes not the key piece to a SB.

Great move for him and the Saints, I hope they win the SB, although it will be a cheap ring for Dez, kinda like high fence hunting, lol, I kid.

This

Outside of Thomas, the WR's aren't the best group really. The second threat is Kamara really and he's a RB. I'm guessing Dez can be a possession/1st down WR. If he can get separation which he couldn't in his last year in Dallas.

It could be the SB matchup of veterans (Brady vs Breeze) or the Young guns (Goff vs Mahommes). I will put my money on the veterans until someone proves otherwise....

I think he'll be fine with the Saints. Brees can manipulate defenses and their offense well enough to squeeze solid production from Dez. So far this year, Michael Thomas has 70 catches and I think the next WR has 14. They could use another Wr that is physical and that can potentially move the safety

Default Dezzy to the Saints....

This has the potential to be really good or really bad for the saints.

With a QB like Brees and Dez it has potential to be great; if Dez can not act like Dez.

And Id love to see the Saints stomp a mud hole in the Cowboys in 3 weeks.

Salary is $600k for 8 games which is a steal $500k worth of incentives, as Bryant will only cost the Saints $1.1M providing he reaches all the incentives. Dez will be a 4th or 5th option for Brees when you figure Ingram and Kamara catch quite a few passes out of the backfield. Low risk, High reward for both parties. If Bryant can tone down his ego and act like Larry Fitzgerald or Jerry Rice, it will pay off when signing a multi-year contract in 2019. Payton and Saints team leaders have notified Dez he's on a short leash so don't go acting like OBJ

Be a good fit when Brees throws 10 to 12 yards on 3rd and 8. Maybe Garret will take notice.

Great move by the Saints, Dez has an immense passion for football, I do not think he will let the Saints down at all, their offense will be unstoppable.

Couldn't stand Dez with the cowboys the last couple years. But I think he will be fine as a slot receiver for the Saints. He won't have to beat the beat cover guy anymore. He'll have safeties and linebackers trying to cover him. Good luck with all that....IF he can keep his head straight

The Cowboys have a way of making mediocre players look like All Pro's, so don't be surprised if Dez doesn't light it up when the Saints play the Cowboys.
