My cousin Bobby had the biopsy's come back yesterday and it's a very fast growing and aggressive cancer. No time for chemo or radiation. They will do surgery tomorrow and remove 1/3 to 1/2 of his tongue and if in lymph nodes they will do a dissection of his neck to remove if possible. The scans didn't tell them about the lymph nodes due to dental work. (???) He is going to have to relearn how to swallow and talk.
Bobby is a few years younger than me and never smoked. He has run our family reunions since all the aunts/uncles died or got to old to handle it. He is very close and a rock to the whole Hoover family.
