Funny Feeder Find

I tried like hell to shoot this buck for the better part of two months. I had him in bow range on two separate occasions, and drew back on him once. He just never gave me a clear shot at his vitals. I finally gave up trying to shoot him with my bow and had to concede he won the battle. I guess this was his final “screw you” to me by dropping his antlers under my feeder, ha!

We had an axis like that. Only saw him sporadically but when he shed, he always put them where we could easily find them.

Am I the only one that thinks those don't look like the same antlers, that are actually on the buck in the live photo?? Maybe it's just the perspective from a different angle??

I don't know for sure but that "ground shrinkage" gets me every time. something about them horns hitting the ground they just get smaller.
