I ended my trapping season last week and caught 10 overall. So now up 46 for the thread

Got my furthest kill on a coyote towards the start of the year. I was getting ready to target shoot at 600 yards and he ran out in front of the target at 542 yards. Already had a wind reading, range finder was already out of my pack, gun was setup in the tripod. It was the worst possible time for that coyote to run out at that distance . Hit far back but buzzards helped me find him the next day.

Wife shot this one on Saturday at 205 yards with her .243.

I hope to add to the count this weekend. Headed to the lease in Terrell/Val Verde County. There aren't a lot of yotes due to years of poisoning them, but I know a couple of ranches that have seen one or two lately. We're over run with foxes, so that should be fun.

A first for me will be using an electronic caller. I've always used mouth blown calls and had pretty good success. This should be fun.
