Can I legally shoot a drone down?

Twice in the last couple weeks I have had one of the 4 propeller type drones with camera fly around my place. My place is long and narrow with the house toward the back and the welding shop in the front. A fellow TBHer that works out of my shop seen it the first time. He seen it come from the direction of my house, hover around the shop, mover over my metal pile and then head off across the highway. Today, the same person and a good friend, saw it again and it came from the direction of my house, hovered around the welding shop, moved across the road and then went down the road out of sight. They both agreed that it only left the shop area after they went out and looked up at it. That seemed to be what happened the first time as well.

I don't like this at all and feel some one may be casing my stuff to come back and steal some thing. Would I be in the right to shoot it down?

Dang, now they are targeting us TBHer's......... I would shoot it down then wait on the owner to come snooping around next and have a little Q and A with him. What are they going to do to us next to try to control us?

It is legal to shoot drones on private property at this time. Hope it never changes or it will be hunger games v. 2.0

I can't imagine it would be legal.

If it is, I'd sure like to see that written somewhere.

Interesting. If I were living in an area it was legal to discharge a fire arm I would.

Just run out there with a shotgun and sky bust a couple of warning shots towards it! I bet once they review that video it won't be back! LOL
