Camera to film through scope?

My son wants to be able to film some of his hunts through his scope. He sent me a link to the Tactacam FTS which looks really cool but is a lot more than I would like to spend at over $500 since we would have to buy a tactacam 5.0 as well. Has any one had any success with some of the attachments that allow an iPhone to film through a scope?

I’ve used the tines up phonecam for about 2-3 years now. Works great. I just set it up on a cheap Amazon case and keep that in my blind. Switch cases if I want to film.
