I believe four defensive starters also opted out. I thought the commentators mentioned that as well. May want to verify. Glad that Florida opted to play the game versus not. That would have been bad for both teams all around for the kids wanting to play. Bowl games will become less important to fans moving forward. If that is the case then the NCAA needs to fix it where the games are relevant. I still think kids will sit regardless. Maybe not as many though.

I think a corner opted out and three were out due to injuries which is part of the game.

I gotcha. Injuries are totally different. Next man up. They certainly did not man up. The OU running backs ran wild.

So North Carolina has a bunch of opt outs, Aggie should win by 40 but wonít count. Is that the narrative we are running with?

Another reason for the CFB playoffs to be expanded to say, the top 10 teams. Wont be any "opting out" then!
Oh, ok..

Do they really???? That stinks. I will watch the entire game but this whole opt-out / Covid stuff sucks for College Football. We knew it would be a weird year. Just looking forward to next season already.......actually I am more excited to watch College Baseball.

Exactly what I was thinking. Itís going to be tough to walk back the narrative created here if UNC plays a good game or somehow wins with all those players out.

Does Aggy want to be there in case they lose? We need to get that cleared before the game starts

What narrative? If UNC wins then they win. That would mean they played better and scored more points. Pretty simple concept. Having starters opting out should not be an excuse either way. Itís a reality some teams have to face. I just do not want to watch blow-out games if a team is missing a bunch of starters. It would be no different than a Baseball game. If your favorite College Baseball team is missing five or six starters then it is just hard to watch a game that will not be competitive. Since hearing that UNC has starters opting out.....I am now looking forward to the final four games. I digress.

Seemed significant to OU’s players. So when sec loses, it becomes insignificant?
Had gator won the narrative would have been, “Look at us we beat the Big 12’s best with out our starters”, right? Don’t **** on my back and tell me it’s raining.

Naw, I probably wouldn't have said anything. The only reason I responded to this is some b12 yoke, said the SEC looked terrible when only one team had played. Then you started your high pitched, SEC hating, hyperbole. So I responded. No biggie. Its kinda fun.

Nah...the players that opt out should have to pay back their scholarships. Opt out = quitter! We will be fine!

They are the cardiac kids with a lot of late game heroics to win some close games. They have the best player in college football at LB in Zaven Collins #23.

I don't see anybody celebrating OU's win except oktx. Don't confuse ridiculing SEC honks for supporting Big 12 foes. If yall can get that through yalls Aggy heads, it will be nice and quiet around here.

Don’t know why you’re honking on Aggies, everyone I’ve seen have said congrats to OU and they hoped Florida got blown out......not sure where that’s coming from. Amazing what a longhorn win does for post counts.

For the first time since this crap all started I M starting to get concerned about it....
In the last week, we have found out about 5 different friends and families that do not know each other that ALL have got sick....not hospitalized but sick....cancelled all our Holiday and NYE plans because of it.....
We canít take a chance due to a 26 year old SIL with cancer and cannot take any chances...

I'm good right now ...no symptoms yet. They say the symptoms show up on average day 4-7 after exposure. We were at day 5 at 10am so not out of the woods yet. Hopefully I avoided it while at his house. He wasn't symptomatic until the day after that next evening. And no sir, I did not have it yet. My Dad battled it for 4 weeks including a longer hospital stay though. We are quarantining because of my wife's immune issue and my past respiratory issues...although the weight loss has helped extremely with that.

My Dad battled it for 4 weeks including a longer hospital stay though. We are quarantining because of my wife's immune issue and my past respiratory issues...although the weight loss has helped extremely with that.
Ok, yeah, keep your Sweetie safe. I work with a kid that has an auto immune problem, he has had c19 3 times in the last 9 months.

Hope your dad is well.

Stay safe.

As far as my posting...I'm under quarantine for Covid as I was exposed Sat by TBHer Humper who tested positive. My wife is a Covid Nazi with a immune system disorder so what else am I going to do? I'm confined to my home office until the 7-8 days pass.. Football and TBH ...
Hate to hear you were exposed......keep us in the loop, if we need to send flowers.

99.9% chance they have the flu or a cold.....we still get those, although they arenít being diagnosed.
