Anyone have a photo of a melanistic coyote?

I am writing an article for THE JOURNAL OF THE TEXAS TROPHY HUNTER about black panthers. I mention that some folks could be seeing melanistic coyotes and mistakenly thinking they are seeing a black cat.
While I have seen thousands and thousands of coyotes, I have never seen a black one that seem to be fairly common in East or SE Texas. If we use it, will be sure to give you photo credit.
    Thanks and Adios,
    Gary

Those things look like small wolves.

No help with photo's and I've never seen one either. I follow some Alabama hunting forums as well and they seem to be fairly common over there.

It’s easy to tell the difference between a melanistic coyote and a black panther when they walk out together. That doesn’t happen very often though.

I’ll have to find some pics but we have a group of 4 running around together that’s solid black. They showed up last fall and have stuck around.

Sorry for the poor quality but I killed her in 2002 in Nacogdoches. (Central Heights area, north of Nacogdoches actually). Didn't have the money to get her mounted and that picture is the only evidence I have left of her.

Here ya go. Top one was from New York and bottom one I think from Georgia.
                              I did NOT shoot these.
