    Flounder Gigging Trip 9/25-

If anyone wants a really cool experience I would highly recommend you give Captain Corder a call! Great captain with a lot of knowledge and experience. He’s booked all the time and it is easy to see why. We went flounder gigging last night in the Galveston Bay complex. Never gigged from a boat before so this was a new experience. I’m hooked. Had a blast with great friends!
Wound up with a 4 man limit of flat ties, 3 Bay Snapper, and a bucket full of crabs.

Nice haul but -2 points for the choreographed captain Morgan move

What’s the limit on flounder now days, I haven’t been giging since we sold the airboat
And I think the limit was 20? Back then

Limit is 5 per person. Long time since it’s been 20.

Yeah it was in the 1990’s
Couple of years ago I traded beer, coffee, cigarettes to shrimpers offshore
Mostly shrimp but sometimes they had big bags of flounder

Love it, great job. I miss floundering. I grew up on the coast floundering. I would love to move back and flounder all the time again. I got my wife and daughter into it, they think it's the only way to fish.

Love the pic! Hate when people post pics of flounder belly up!

                    Haha
                    Some fine dining to come.
