I was about to say that. You will need 2 boats for 8 people. Most guide license are for a max of 6 people at a time.

Depends on what you want to catch Dale and how you want to fish.

Steve is a great guy and great guide mainly fishes for trout but may catch a few reds here and there. My bil fished with him 2 days this week and cause their limit of trout both days.

Joey Farrah great with kids and stays on the fish. More than likely already booked but you never know. Trout reds and maybe some drum


Paul Braley. Same as Joey but will mix in some drum as well mid tower boat and does alot of sight fishing.

Aaron Loomis is another.

Another is Noe Garza out of billings
Nothing fancy but usually always comes in with limits of drum trout and some reds.

Will send you a text in a few with some info a co worker that grew up in corpus sent me for our trip last month. We didn’t get schedules worked out to go with his guides but he spoke highly of them and I trust him.
