I have a Z3 and its a shooter for sure. I dont think mathews makes a bad bow. The Z3 is kinda heavy at over 4 lbs bare bow but it feels good and shoots great.

Asking that question is like asking what is the best woman. You gotta go try several different ones and get the one that “feels” best for you. Go to a pro shop and shoot all they got. Grips, pull, let off, looks are different on every model. Just stay with Matthews.

I've been bowhunting since only 2010. I bought a used Switchback XT on the recommendation of a long-time bowhunting friend. I love it and haven't (won't) tried out any newer/fancier/more expensive bows.
My friend would still be using his SBXT except that some friends of his, in gratitude for his help with some bowhunting stuff, gave him a Z7 when they came out.
