    Alligator Taxidermy/Tanning

My girlfriend killed a big gator this season with me, 11 foot. I have sent gator belly hides off to have them tanned at Sebring and American Tanning, and they dye the hides a specific color you choose. This one I had skinned horn back and want to keep it's natural color. Do any of y'all know a place that will do this? Basically are wanting a gator "rug". I'm having alot tougher time than I expected trying to find someone to do this. The hide has been fleshed and salted already.

I have and for a 7' gator it was EXPENSIVE- most tanneries charge by the linear foot and I got wholesale pricing from the tannery bc I have a taxidermy business account with them.

Is the hide salted dry? Also, it is likely the color will fade after tanning and if you want it back to "natural" it will take some painting/finish work.
