Spend a weekend in Ruidoso and Cloud Croft. Lincoln is pretty neat, Lincoln County Wars, history. There is also a grave yard between Ruidoso and Lincoln where WW2 German POW's are buried. (I'm a Military History Buff so I enjoyed it anyway.)
I'd spend all my "off time" visiting in this mountain area, pretty cool, pun intended.

I've worked in El Paso many times, and personally I like the place!

Dont go to Walmart (too soon?)
If anyone tells you to eat Chico’s, don’t do it unless you want to be sitting on a toilet for the next 2-3 days. Trust me, I just went through the experience about 3 weeks ago.Last edited by BigRed323; 08-16-2019, 09:41 PM.

From what I read there is some decent fishing in that area.
Going to suggest hitting up Choppe's and The Dog House a 2nd time...because it's that good.
Chico's Tacos is WAAAAYYYYY overrated.
They'll be running at Ruidoso downs until Labor Day, and it's a fun track. Won't start running in Sunland Park for another couple of months.
