Neither, my store closes at 2 so really no need for it. Our model isnít necessarily the regular ol tex mex setup. We are all more of a breakfast diner that sells homemade Mexican food.

My wife still goes there, when I am not with her, but she won't bring up the name, if we are looking for a place to eat together. She knows what I think of them. When a Whataburger number 1, with cheese and their regular drink, most people call a large drink, costs $8.00 something. Then Taco Hell want's over $11 for a burrito and a drink, they have completely lost their mind. Locally you can't go inside and eat, you only have the drive through.
Never heard of anything remotely close to that.

Beans, lettuce, cheese sauce and two pieces of onion in a tortilla for 8-9.00?

Yup Taco Casa gets our money if we eat like that at the house or on the way to the lease right before Weatherford. These days though if we're not cooking, I'd rather order take out from the little Mex joint down the road. Same distance and even better food. Quick, easy and convenient.

I just wish feral cat was on the menu. My mom (who I tend as care taker) kept in the past taking them in and now I am challenged with Gato Taco or her soft side to help the d%@# cats. She wins. Taco Bell wins. Give me some hot sauce!

Cabana is still the best if y'all wanna go that route. They have beer too.

Local taco joints? The best are in Laredo. That's not the same though.

Eat at home. Overpriced and convenience doesn’t make up the difference. You keep buying it and they will keep charging it. Fast food has gotten out of hand. Whataburger went to**** when they got bought out! If you keep feeding the fire it only gets bigger.

It's my #1 go to around here for fast food. At least twice a week.
Our options are limited.

I will forever mourn the loss of the encharito. Before that, the loss of black olives on the encharito.

Burnet Rd Taco Bell at 2:00 am is central to many stories that start with, "We strolled into Dallas Club..."

I grew up with taco bell as my favorite place if I was gonna eat fast food.....I went through the drive through not long ago and almost had a stroke when the lady had told me the final price....I doubt I'll ever go back now knowing I can just go order food from a real restaurant for those prices....

They recently quit making the tostada which was my favorite and then started new, higher priced items. I ate there a couple days ago and got 2 chalupas and a burrito supreme and a small drink. I started a thread on this 7-9 months ago when they dropped all my favorites and changed the menu. I remember being in the drivethrough and saying I wanted 2 "xyz's" and they replied we don't have those anymore....then repeat that 5 times and I drove off. Literally my top 5 favorite Taco Bell items were gone. Tostadas, nacho supreme, frito burrito, triple layer burrito, and the other thing I can't remember right now.

You gotta give em credit. They've figured out how to take a tortilla, some cheese, beans, and cat food and fold it into a million combinations to populate a cheapskate menu. 3 tacos and a drink for $5 and it's not gourmet? Say ain't so

Same for me! My wife was telling me, that they took a big hit when taking away the Mexican pizza, and are supposed to be bringing it back. I haven't researched, but she usually has reliable sources. That was the only thing I would eat there. I am not a huge fan of the powdered beans.... lol

Dropped them several years ago when I came down with the worst case of hershey squirts a man ever had after eating a six pak of tacos. Lasted pert near a whole week. Pretty sure I left part of my guts somewhere. Same thing with Schlotzsky's. Danged near killed me with food poisoning. Nothing is safe anymore with fast food and the disease carrying staff that work in most places.

I still frequent Taco Bell pretty often. Not weekly, but easy a couple times a month.

Chicken quesadilla with a soft taco, two bean burritos, no onion, extra cheese and extra red sauce. Large Mountain Dew. Every now and then the wife craves bean burritos as well and she will be on board with going.

Will have to see if this Taco Casa place is near me.

Edit: Google brought me to photos of a Taco Casa. Recognized it as a place near my brother in law in Waxahachie. It 100% is better than Taco Bell, but I like Taco Bell’s sauces better.
