    Reloading 308 ammo Starline Brass

The list a 308 match Brass that used Small rifle primers?

    They say this about that.

The .308 Match is our small primer version of the .308 Winchester case. Many competitive shooters prefer the consistent velocities produced by small rifle primers. Like all of our other small primer rifle cases, we utilize our standard .080" flash hole diameter, as we feel it gives better ignition with slower burning and harder to ignite powders, making it more user friendly than many of the small primer/small flash hole versions of this caliber*.

I like the idea of having more brass in the case head.

How is the availability of SRM primers vs LRM?

      I posted the link.

They only make brass for reloading.

I understand. While I like the idea, I have never personally switched to this brass for my 6.5 or .308, as I find it easier to get large rifle match primers than the small rifle match primers that these would need.

Almost impossible to get large rifle primers now. I have seen small rifle primers several place.

          Besides that

Not sure if the science behind the small primers on the web site is valid. Might be.

I'm just getting started in reloading. So much to learn.

I reload weekly and use Starline. I've never had issues.

Do you use the 308 match with small rifle primers?

No. I only use the large rifle version, as I have sufficient supply.

I would have no issues with switching, if it made finding brass or primers easier.
I know shooters that use the small rifle primer brass for 6.5CM and get low SDs and excellent primer pocket lifespan.

Been using it for years. Best pistol brass I have ever found for loading +P ammo.

I've loaded their .223 brass and it is a great product. I'm hoping they'll start making 6.5X55, 6.5 PRC and some 22-250 one day.
