Thanks for the compliments fellas! After checking for blood between the spot of the shot and the spot she went out of my line of sight, well I just started creeping through trails in those cedars.

I found one single pen tip drop on a leaf. Called wife over and she found more, and we established a direction.

That’s the exact spot I always aim to hit my deer, and usually heavy blood in less than 60 yards. Hole on opposite side just as big.

All worked out.

Crazy how much different each situation is. That was a pretty dang good shot and you would have though she would have been leaking pretty bad......just never know. Congrats on the freezer filler.
